Tool generator

Use this generator to create a template with source files for a new Nova Tool. Specify a display name for the tool (e.g. “My Tool”) and an optional author name. When you click the Generate button, a zip-archive will be created and downloaded.









Follow these steps to deploy and modify the code of the generated tool using AppStudio:

  1. Start AppStudio.

  2. Go to App → Import and select the downloaded zip-archive.

  3. Now you should see the package in your working directory, and be able to open and modify the source files.

  4. Click on Run all Apps to deploy the tool to your device.
